That's a confusing article but just the thought of any government interfering with the Internet is scary. I feel terrible for the people of Egypt right now.
It works very well in Egypt, as we can see.
They suspended the civil liberties here (which is the same) in 1970. War Measures Act they called it (was in a dusty drawer since the early 1900s). Generated abuses galore. No "hypothetical in-case" powers never got to be used eventually, and generally, abusively. I'm not scared about Obama. I'm scared about the one who will be there after. Or the one after that one. There's bound to be a rifle-loving Boenerish Palin creationist simple minded somewhere in there.
Poor Boehner. He lost an "h" in the run. As if he could afford to lose anything, he who is already so limited...up there in the h area.
I suspect that Americans will need to be ashamed for several years for their policies toward dictators.
