Yesterday I cut grass. Not THE grass, but a little bit of grass. There are so many beautiful flowers growing in the yard that it seemed a shame to behead them. Especially given my past polemics in defense of dandelions. But it was fun getting the electric lawnmower to work.
I also bought a new toy: a schpritzer which moves back and forth. I may have schprizted the neighbours, inadvertently.
And oh. I saw a neighbour reading on his terrace. A rugby-looking fellow. Twenty-something. Cute.
There are under 5000 residents in this town, and about 10000 of them seem to be hot guys.
The lilacs are still alive.

A while back we got a warning about our lawn from the HOA. (home owners association) That's the main reason I'm trying to grow some grass where grass is supposed to be. If we don't improve the lawn we'll be fined. I don't care what the HOA thinks but on the other hand I don't want to be fined.
I'm the only hot guy in this neighborhood. (that was a joke)
There are some college students and I see them walking around once in a while. It's not like Davis though where there would be new groups moving in next door every year.
It seems like your new place is more interesting and fun. I think it's going to be a good thing.
Dandelions are a beautiful flower (imho). They just have sex too often for their own good. Humans are prude about slutty and wild flowers.
Tulips are still sprouting in the lawn of my dead neighbors back yard, even if the new owners paid a fortune to landscape the place and get rid of them. They are pissed. I am delighted (but will never tell them). I just told Mrs Neighbor "elles sont tenaces, n'est-ce pas?".
