I really like her voice. (and style) I saw her for the first time yesterday also on a YouTube video.
I posted the vid to 'Warwick Avenue' on my blog a week or so back. But by far my favourite track by Duffy is 'Rockferry.' It was her first single here, although 'Mercy' was the one that 'broke' her in the public eye.
Destined for big things. Winehouse-esque without the drugs or the bad press.
I went crazy a couple weeks ago and bought all sorts of late-50s and early-60s songs as well as some newer stuff. Her songs sound right at home next to old old rock and roll.
